Hi there! My name is María and I'm a UX / UI designer based in Barcelona.

By efficiently researching and communicating with stakeholders and customers I design useful, honest, and accessible processes and products that understand the customer's struggles and motivations as well as the business needs.

I'm from Venezuela and back there I got my degree in electronic engineering. In 2014, I moved to Barcelona to get my master's degree in telecommunication engineering and after that, I gained experience in operations and customer support.

Professionally, I was always involved in the last stages of a product. Meaning when the product was launched and the users got to interact with it and we heard their feedback. This experience was really enriching and, it allowed me to learn to listen to the customers, receive feedback, adapt to issues, and be proactive.

All of these lessons motivated me and inspired me to enter the world of UX / UX design.

In the last few years, I have been working for as designer for B2B startups that offer SaaS solutions and mobile apps. I have done it following design thinking methodology and have developed good skills with design tools such as Sketch and Figma and have successfully implemented design systems following best practices that suit designers and developers. I have learnt to listen to the users, define processes, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and offer timely solutions to problems that customers may be facing with the product.
